Definition of a Miracle! Something utterly impossible completely out of the normal. It might be physical, maybe natural, could have something to do with weather.
A PHYSICAL MIRACLE
John had been a missionary in the nation of Indonesia for over 30 years. One day John met this dad who asked him, “Can the God of heaven heal his infant son? My baby son was born with his spine protruding out 2 inches away from his baby’s body." John picked up the baby and examined the child. The baby indeed had a tail which extended beyond his body.
Missionary John had declared and still does today that nothing is impossible for God. What God does for one He will do for you!
When God choses to respond – God’s power shakes everyone!!
He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever
John told this father that God’s the same yesterday, today and forever.
It wasn’t long before the dad’s faith became very active. Soon he was crying out to God and asking God to heal his little son.
Missionary John went on about his journey visiting many villages in the highlands of Indonesia and returned several weeks later to the village. He was anxious to see how the daddy and his baby son were doing.

Webster’s definition of a miracle states:
An event or effect that goes against anything know and unknown to be supernatural.
You and I must never lose sight of the wonderments of the miraculous.
Miracles….
Miracles are from Jesus Christ. Miracles come from God. Miracles come from up above.
How about the red sea and what happened to make it open up and part? God was the One who did that for His people. As He opened and held the red sea waters for the children they could pass through to safety and freedom. Then God took His hands off the waters and when He did Pharaho and his soldiers all drowned in the water while the swells of death was all around the children on the other side. God gave them “New life and freedom!”
Ps107,23 “They that go down to the sea and do business in deep waters they will see the wonders of God.” We are created to do business in deep waters. We are not to have little dreams or little plans. We are to have big dreams and big plans. We are supposed to go out into the deep things God has for us.
Understand when we out there in the deep waters, you can’t touch the ground and usually you can’t see the shore and many times it gets rocky. We may not always see how things are going to work out but scripture tells us deep calls to deep. God is the one who has called you to the deep waters. He is with you and He knows there are deep things on the inside of you. Always remember when you are in deep waters you are not alone. God is with you and He’s causing deep things inside of you to come forth. Remember you are in the right place and God is with you. You will see His wonderful deeds in the deep and you will fulfill the plans He has for you.
HONDARUS IS WHERE GOD BUILT AND MADE A BRIDGE
God made a bridge for just an ordinary man who had a mission and purpose to fulfil for God.
Tito was fulfilling a preaching assignment at the top of a very high mountain in Honduras. For him to travel to the town Tito had to cross a 30 foot bridge. On each side of the 30 foot bridge were very large hills. He recalls there were 2 big hills in between this 30 foot wood bridge.
Heavy storms and hurricanes had been pounding the area for over 3 days and Tito didn’t want to be late. Tito recalls as he crossed the bridge thinking to himself that this bridge was all white and wasn’t weathered beaten. He crossed the bridge without any problems and very soon he arrived in the village.
Everyone in the village was surprised to see him. How on earth did you get here! How did you come and where did you come from? Tito said, “I came on the road and crossed the bridge between those 2 very high mountains.” That’s impossible! You couldn’t have come over the bridge. Well, you must have come a different way. The bridge you crossed washed out last night with the heavy storm we had. WE HAVE NO BRIDGE! It vanished and blew away in the storm! Tito said, “The bridge I travelled on must have been repaired. The white wood on the bridge looked brand new. It was so easy coming across the bridge and here I am!”
Mayor John said, “No Tito. The bridge is gone!” Several men took Tito to where the bridge should have been to prove their point. When they arrived to where the bridge had been they were right!! No bridge! But here Tito had crossed the bridge safely driving across a bridge made of brand-new wood.
Miracles are events which brings God’s supernatural intervention into our lives.
God performs an event which is humanly impossible which we call a miracle.
MIRACLES
God built this bridge across those 2 mountains in Honduras for Tito.
God healed and dried the baby’s body which had a tail growing and extending 2 inches beyond his body.
God dried up the Red Sea for Moses and His people.
SUPERNATURAL OCCURANCE WITH JESUS
Jesus performed feeding 4 thousand and all the women and children too.
Mat 15, 32-38 Jesus called His disciples to Him saying, “I have compassion on the multitude because they have now continued with me 3 days and have had nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.” The disciples said, “Where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?” “How many loaves do you have?” Interesting they answered back, “We have only 7 loaves and a small amount of fish.” Can you just see Jesus not batting an eye asking everyone to sit? Jesus didn’t look at what He had in His hands. It’s simple, He lifted up what He had and gave much thanks to God then without any hesitation He broke bread then giving to His disciples He said to distribute to the people. It just seemed to multiply in their hands. So they all ate and were full those 4,000 plus women and children. They had 7 baskets left and enough to give to others. As He gave thanks that when God performed this miracle of supply.
Romans 10,17 “Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God”.
When you believe God is the God of the impossible and He just can do anything then God gets busy performing the impossible in our lives.
