We Have Him and His Authority
If natural decrees are powerful how much more powerful is a a spiritual decree? Scripture calls New Testament believers priests and kings of the Most High God! What do you think begins to happen when you actually say something into the spiritual realm and make known the manifold wisdom of God to demonic powers and principalities? The enemy knows if you’re unsure of your authority.
You really need to have a revelation of who you are in Jesus and that He is the hope of glory which lives in you.
When you know your authority and make decrees, the enemy cannot invade your home. The angelic hosts of heaven and Jesus Himself will back up your decrees which line up with His prophetic or scriptural words 
to you. You have been given kingly anointing and authority; you’ve been made to sit in heavenly places (Eph 2:6). Every devil in hell trembles at your words when you know your position in Jesus! He knows that behind everything you say is the authority of heaven and Jesus. The angels of God will come and arrest them. I believe that God begins to release angels to carry out His word in our lives when we begin to release the word into heaven. We can actually aid in spiritual warfare.

We can actually aid in spiritual warfare.In the Old Testament Elijah said to Ahab, “As the Lord God of Israel lives before whom I stand, there shall not be nor rain. Yes, it was the word of Elijah but where did the word originate? The story continues, “It came to pass after many days the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year saying, “Go present yourself to Ahab, I will send rain on the earth”. So Elijah went to Ahab and said something like this, “There won’t be any dew or rain on the earth for years except at my word because God said He is about to send a drought.” Elijah is only saying what God had told him—that is where His authority came from. Elijah partnered with God to see God’s word fulfilled. Later when God was about to send rain to the earth He told the prophet to decree what He was about to do. Elijah had a place in fulfilling the Word, he needed to release it before anything would happen.
As a result of Elijah’s words, the Bible tells us he heard the sound of abundance of rain in the spirit. Now think about your situation—maybe God has said something about you but you didn’t say anything to open up heaven so His word could come to pass. Have you heard the sound of the abundance of rain yet? Is there a sound in your spirit? Twenty years of prophetic words is not good enough. There is a time for you to do something with what you have! God is waiting for you!!! Something about your word releases God’s word and opens up the heavens. Then God can release the angels to do what He said He would do.
Princes of Persia in the heavenlies are trying to delay and oppose God’s words to you. The responsibility of warfare and for fulfilment is yours my friend, it’s not the prophets. It’s not God. Something is going on in the heavenlies and you need to be a partner with God. Elijah wasn’t waiting twenty years later for the answer to drop from the sky. Elijah realized he needed to birth the word of God. So Ahab went up to eat and drink. Elijah went up to the top of Carmel and bowed down on the ground (a birthing position) (1 Kings 18:42) then he heard the sound and he realized this thing is not going to come to pass except at the word. But I’ve got God’s word so I’m going to go and get it. Then he said to his servant, “Go and look, do your see anything?” So his servant looked and said, “I don’t see anything.” By now Barbara you know how many times I’ve prayed the word of the Lord and haven’t seen anything!” I’ll tell you what, you have given up! Elijah said to the servant, “Go and look again.” He believed! He said, “Ok go again.” He came back saying, “I don’t see anything,” But Elijah kept telling him to go back and look again. After the 7th time, the servant saw the answer begin to start!
Elijah realized he needed to pray the word through and take care of any opposition to its fulfilment. He began to loose the word in heaven, call it out of the spirit and call those things that were not as though they were…until they came into existence. He persisted even when he didn’t see anything. After the 7th time he saw a cloud the size of a man’s hand.
It’s time to decree what God has promised you and what He has said about you. It’s time to declare what the Bible and the prophetic words have said about you. You are now going to make powerful prayers of proclamation of decrees. As in James, “The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much, 5:16.
Now remind the devil of your destiny and that he is a defeated foe. Begin to remind the devils about the destiny words from God. Maybe God says He is going to release prosperity on you then take you word and say, “Spirit of poverty God’s word says I would prosper, His word is true and devils you will not hinder me any longer.
Remind God you are a sower and that you have been sowing your seed into fertile soil. Then plead the Blood of Jesus over every promise God has given to you. Let the Holy Spirit bring to the forefront of your mind every word that God has given you. Let God remind you of every prophetic promise—those are your words and they have authority. They will come to pass as you decree and believe them.
So use God’s word now. Say exactly what God promises are and make sure every hindering devil knows you are taking authority. Shake the kingdom of darkness! Maybe you want to get married. Get out the Word of God and remind God what He has promised you for your mate.
Now let’s make a declaration for revival: for your household, school, city and nation. Demon of religion I want revival! Father God in Jesus name I release revival. Those religious spirits of religion, that unbelief, that apathy must go now in Jesus name. Father God I want miracles! You promised miracles, you promised healing for that’s your word and now God in Jesus name I rebuke the demons of infirmity, those devils of sickness, every demon of disease must go now in Jesus name. And now God let your people be healed in Jesus name.
DECREE THIS WITH ME NOW
As a child of the Most High God I am lead by His Spirit. I am a child of the light. I am called to proclaim the praises of Him who called me out of darkness into His marvelous light. With Jesus light in me, I am the light of the world. My life brings divine favour wherever I go for I am the salt of the earth. God you have chosen me to be one of Your own. You have given me a new anointing and have called me to be a priest and a king. I enforce God’s will on the earth for I walk as His ambassador. My family and children are blessed and I am blessed in all that I put my hands to. I am blessed when I come in and when I go out. The Lord covers and protects me because of His shed Blood over me at all times. I am filled with His joy and He has made me the head and not the tail. God has called me to be a lender and not a borrower for He has freely given me all things through Jesus. I am strong in the Lord having overcome the worked one and the world. I am endued with power from on High. I just want to say thank you Lord for hearing my hearts cry today.
